FUNDING BRIGHT MINDS IN SCIENCE

  • Alexei was a brilliant scientist, inventor, and entrepreneur. He was incredibly helpful to my journey as an entrepreneur. My utmost condolences go out to the family. His great legacy and the positive impact he's had on the world will live on forever.

  • We have lost a leader, friend, and source of inspiration.

  • Alexei's passion for quantum computing was truly contagious! I knew nothing about his line of work, but to his credit, I now find it so fascinating and want to learn more. He was a great educator/entrepreneur, loving father, and overall wonderful person. Truly feel blessed to have known him. Sending my thoughts and prayers to his family.

  • Alexei was one of the few people with whom I gathered a lot of mutual trust and rapport. We shared a similar enthusiasm for "quiet rigor": do your scientific job peacefully, gracefully, and to the highest standard.

  • Alosha was so kind, generous, innovative, excited by physics, and fun to be with. I am deeply saddened by such a loss. My heart goes out to his kids.

  • Alexei was larger than life and he made such an impact on the global quantum community.

  • Alexei offered me wonderful advice and counsel on multiple occasions. I learned from him as so many others did because he was a dedicated teacher. The family he made through his work and life will miss him.

  • I have no adequate words for the loss of a friend and a colleague like Alexei. Know that so many people share this sadness with you and that he will be remembered well. May his legacy flourish.
